QUICK FACTS

GOALS AND IDEALS
Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc. is an organization of diverse women driven to make an impact through CULTURAL ENRICHMENT, LEADERSHIP, ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, SISTERHOOD, and SERVICE to the Campuses and Communities we represent.
As a Latina-based, (NOT Latina-exclusive) organization, though we represent a vast array of cultural identities and ethnicities, we are unified through our shared commitment to SINCERITY, LOYALTY, and UNITY; ideals which empower all of our pursuits and fuel our bond Hasta la Muerte (until death).
PHILANTHROPY
"Literacy: EMPOWERMENT, One Word at a Time."
As an organization, we strongly believe in the importance of literacy for all individuals, and in particular, those representing marginalized communities and having little access to important resources. Though literacy is largely understood to encompass reading and writing, we aim to provide access to various types of literacy, including health, financial, and computer literacies.
